Kalada (Kal) is the General Manager of Gramercy Tavern. Before joining Gramercy Tavern, you may have seen Kal in various positions at the Michelin-starred restaurant, The NoMad, most recently as the General Manager. Kal made his first foray into food and wine under the mentorship of Tony Foreman and Chef Cindy Wolf. For five years, Kal worked at multiple dining concepts and in many positions for the Foreman-Wolf restaurant group including General Manager of the flagship property, Charleston. A proud native of Baltimore, Kal is a former Fulbright scholar and earned his B.A. in Political Science and International Languages and Cultures in 2009 from St. Mary’s College of Maryland.
