Gramercy Tavern is excited to announce our month-long collaboration with Black Seed Bagels, a modern-day NYC bagel shop steeped in old-world tradition. Black Seed’s executive chef, Dianna Daoheung and our own Chef Michael Anthony worked closely to develop the “Gramercy Tavern Bagel,” a rye bagel topped with house-made Vermont wagyu pastrami, soft scrambled eggs, Fresno chiles, and a smoked onion sauce. This collaboration not only pulled inspiration from both restaurants’ menus but also amplified unexpected ingredients in a bagel sandwich.
You can find this sandwich at all four Black Seed locations, including the recently opened NoMad shop, East Village, Nolita, and Hudson Eats at Brookfield Place throughout October. The Gramercy Tavern Bagel will also be offered alongside Broccoli and Basil soup as part of our weekly soup and sandwich lunch special in The Tavern during the first week of October.
